Free Warm Welcome spaces open across Birmingham for residents needing support

Residents in Birmingham can now access more than 200 Warm Welcome spaces across the city, offering free refreshments, practical advice, and safe, welcoming places to meet friends and neighbours, Birmingham City Council has announced.

The initiative provides inclusive, non-judgemental environments where people can enjoy a hot drink or meal, access support on health, wellbeing, energy-saving, or finances, and take part in community activities. Many locations also offer free internet access, computers, and charging points.

Warm Welcome spaces are available year-round, not just during the winter months. The programme is delivered in partnership with local community, voluntary, and faith organisations, with venues including libraries, community hubs, leisure centres, cafes, and places of worship.

Details of participating locations can be found on the Birmingham City Council website, helping residents find support, companionship, and practical resources across the city.
