Why does work cause stress?
The most common causes of work related stress are work pressure, poor organisation and lack of support from managers. While some people thrive under pressure and do their best work with a looming deadline, others find these kinds of challenges very stressful.
When you feel overwhelmed at work, you lose confidence and may become angry, irritable, or withdrawn. Other signs and symptoms of excessive stress at work include: Feeling anxious, irritable, or depressed. Apathy, loss of interest in work.

Should I quit a stressful job?
Once you’ve thought through the worst that can happen, see if any of those scenarios sound like situations you can live with. When even the worst of the worst-case scenarios feels better than your current job, that’s probably a good sign you should resign.
You will be able to tell if your job is stressful because if the company is giving you to many jobs to do at once and the work people next to you are being mean to you or threating. A work place must be good if you notice everything is up to date and the company’s running without stress and getting tasks done in there own time.
What is the best day to quit?
The best time to resign is at the end of the day, and on a Monday or Tuesday. The end of the day timing is for your benefit. Resigning at 5:00 pm. allows you to have your resignation meeting, and then allow you to distance yourself from the potential discomfort by leaving the office. This is if the jobs stressful and you cant handle the work load in job that you been given.
