There are many different elections these are people that carry out different roles in different party’s. In the uk people have the choice if they want to vote if they do there is one vote per person. There are many variations in electoral systems, with the most common systems being first-past-the-post voting, block voting, the two-round  system, proportional representation and ranked voting. These are the three voting ways to vote.

In some countries people get fined for not voting like in Australia you will get fined $20.00 to $50.00. If not paid it is considered a offence towards the voting system. You can go to jail for this.
