Parkinson’s disease is a medical condition in which parts of the brain become damaged over many years. The symptoms of Parkinson’s disease include depression and anxiety, struggling to sleep, memory problems, loss of smell etc.

1 in 500 people are affected by Parkinson’s disease and men are more likely to get Parkinson’s disease than women.

Unfortunately, there is no cure for Parkinson’s disease but there are treatments available such as:

  1. Physiotherapy and occupational therapy
  2. Medication
  3. Brain surgery
