Calcium is very important as it helps to keep bones and teeth healthy, regulates muscle contractions which includes the heartbeat etc.

Dairy products such as milk, yoghurt etc. are sources of calcium.

 

 

Soya drinks also contain calcium.

Adults aged 19 to 64 need 700mg of calcium a day.

We should all be able to get all the calcium we need from our daily diet.
