It is very important that we all get a sufficient amount of sleep. When we have a sufficient amount of sleep, we will be able get on with our daily routine. However if we don’t get a sufficient amount of sleep, then we will struggle as we are still tired and we may fall asleep during the day.
How much sleep do you need?
Adults over the age of 65 – 7 to 8 hours of sleep
Adults – 6 to 9 hours of sleep
Teenagers – 8 to 10 hours of sleep
Children – 9 to 12 hours of sleep
To help improve your sleep, you should try to go to bed at the same time and wake up at the same time. When you do this, your body gets used to this as you make a habit, and you will improve your sleeping routine.
